AMBASSADOR CHEICK KEITA HAS EARNED A MASTER’S IN PUBLIC LAW AND A DESS PUBLIC COMPANY, OPTION LAW, ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT.
Amabassador Cheick Keita successfully administers the following positions: Large Accounts and Legal Expertise Auditor in the Audit Legal and Financial Business Management Department of Crédit Agricole Bank (France); Director of Legal Affairs and Litigation at the Financial Corporation of Studies and Litigation (SOFIDEC France); Management of the Africa Division for the OVIEDO multinational of IMASA Group (Spain); Director of Africa Markets of BBVA Bank (3rd bank of Spain); Analyst Manager in the Legal and Economic Department of the evaluation of international perspectives at the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development); Executive Officer at the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Public Accounting at the Inspection Control and Expertise Division (ICE) of the Taxes General Directorate at Paris Bercy. Since 1996, he is the founder and President of the CIDIGA (Chamber of Initiatives for the Development of Investments of the Groupings in Africa), whose mission is to produce and offer reliable socio-economic and political information and studies, useful to promote investments of large groups on the African continent. This investment fund brings together company chiefs of different origins: Spain, United States, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Togo, Benin, Gabon, and Guinea, of which he is a native. Convinced that « all Africans must become aware of their interdependence », he pledges to « federate the expertise and know-how that will enable Africa to develop in good intelligence ».
In 2008, the CIDIGA company, member of AFRICAGORA, NGO of public utility in France, contributed to the organization of the conference on investment opportunities in Africa at the French Ministry of Economy and Finance. CIDIGA also participated in the OECD and ADB (African Development Bank) Conference on development issues, and since 2014, CIDIGA has worked to promote social housing in Africa with its partners in Portugal, Brazil and Spain. It has also created two initiatives for Africa: C.A.N.F. (CIDIGA AFRICA NETWORK FUND), an investment promotion fund in Africa and HOPE FOR NEW AFRICA, which is a network to promote the culture of entrepreneurship in Africa.
Along with Africa Synergies International, the first pan-African network of Business angels, Mr. Keita is also working to establish agreements between banks to simplify investments in Africa. In May 2015, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Polish Industry in France, he contributed to the organization of the Poland-Africa Agribusiness Forum in Nice, France. He is the Delegate of the Circle of Republican Diversity (CRD) of the Department of Hauts-de-Seine, which reports to the French government, allowing it to better apprehend the future of the relations between France and Africa. Since October 2015, following the India-Africa Summit, he has been at the initiative of the mobilization of a reflection circle bringing together Indian economists for the establishment of lines of financing by the Indian Government and investment funds to support public investment programs of African states with the C.A.N.F.
The C.A.N.F. has, since February 2016, signed partnership agreements with the HIMIN Solar Group company for the development of solar energy in Africa. In addition, Cheick Keita is the founder and President of B.O.I. (Bridge Of Innovations). B.O.I. is a company that identifies innovative start-ups in Africa and supports them through its network of Business Angels and Venture Capital to initiate their emergence. Currently, six innovative start-ups in Africa have joined the initiative. As part of its HOPE FOR NEW AFRICA initiative and for the promotion of entrepreneurship in Africa, Mr KEITA plans to create international partners with P.E. (Points Entrepreneurship), to enable the meeting of entrepreneurs in agreement with international partners.
Mr. Keita created the OBA (Open Business Africa) company to promote partnerships and joint ventures between companies from the South and the North for the establishment of new structures for transforming local products and the assembly of equipment factories necessary for the development of solar energy in Africa. Mr. Keita has participated in several international conferences on Africa and the ACP as contributor and panelist in international organizations: the OECD, the UNESCO, the French Ministry of Financing, the World Bank, France and the world.
As of 2019, Ambassador Check Keita has achieved the following: became a member of the High Committee as Senator of the WBAF World Business Angels Forum (WBAF), an affiliate partner of the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI); Member of The World Business Angels Investment Forum, committed to collaborating on a global scale to promote the economic development of the World; been named the Vice-Dean in charge of international affairs at Al-Kaliffa Business School in London; became the Founding President of the Pan-African Digital Observatory in April 2019; became UNESCO’s ambassador for the UNESCO event for Guinea and honorary member of the C.A.V.I.E. (African Center for Economic Intelligence and Monitoring), as well as Ambassador of IHRC (International Human Rights Commissions) for the African Continent and the Founder of CIDIGA-Africa Network (Chamber of Initiative for the Development of Group Investments in Africa) and the Founder of the Hope For New Africa (Back home) initiative, a return and knowledge program for black Americans in Africa and in 2022, Ambassador Cheick Keita proudly joins the executive team at Bunchful Enterprises.
